Staff Accountant
We're looking for a versatile Staff Accountant to own day-to-day accounting for our manufacturing operation — billing, invoicing, bookkeeping, and compliance. You'll be the financial heartbeat of the plant, working closely with production, supply chain, and sales, and partnering with the Rye Controller on consolidation and reporting.
Responsibilities

- Process AP, vendor payments, and expense coding tied to inventory and production.
- Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close for the manufacturing entity.
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and inventory accounts; support cost accounting and standard-cost/COGS tracking.
- Manage compliance: sales/use tax, business licenses, resale certificates, 1099s, and audit support.
- Support inventory accounting and cycle-count reconciliation with the Supply Chain team.
- Produce financial reports and ad-hoc analysis for ownership.
Requirements
- 3+ years of full-charge accounting / bookkeeping, ideally in manufacturing or distribution.
- Solid grasp of AR/AP, GL, month-end close, and sales/use tax compliance.
- Experience with Foundation (Foundation Software) preferred; comparable accounting/ERP software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) considered. Strong Excel.
- Exposure to inventory / cost accounting a strong plus.
- Associate's or Bachelor's in Accounting, or equivalent experience.
